Please forgive me as this is very late and maybe it’s not the Brian I knew (but I think it might be.. my deepest apologies  to the family if I’m incorrect on this).. Brian and I worked at Saville Systems together as computer programmers. It was always a pleasure to work with Brian and his great humour and laugh. I came to Christ a few years after we last seen each other and I got to tell Brian what an influence Brian made on me with his character, conduct and how he always carried  himself. I thank you Brian for your friendship and that one day we will get to say “hi” eternally. My condolences onto the family and to thank them for the impact Brian had on me.

My cousin Brian lived with my family in Philadelphia in the late 1970's while he attended college at what is now Eastern University.  We had a great time during those years, and I developed a deep appreciation of and love for Brian.  Aside from having a lot of fun and many funny memories with Brian, he helped me to understand myself and to more fully appreciate other people in my life (I was only in High School at the time - so that's saying something).  Brian was so earnest and well-intentioned.  I'll always remember him for those qualities.

Colleen, I can't express how shocked and saddened Alison and I are Brian's passing.  Friday's service was special.  Thank you for providing the link so we could participate.

Colleen, once again let me express my condolences to you on Brian's passing. I'm the only surviving uncle on both his mother's and father's sides, thus I've known Brian from his birth.

Most of my associations with Brian were here at Little Bear Lake. Like his father Gordon, Brian was an avid fisherman, whether here or at Otter Lake. 

A favourite memory of mine of Brian occurred when he was about five years old. Brian, his Dad Gordon, myself and my wife Yvonne were sitting in the living room at Yvonne's parents, Glen and Grace Etling, at their farm near Choiceland, Saskatchewan. Yvonne was pregnant with our first daughter Patricia. Brian looked at his Aunt Yvonne and said, "You sure have a full tummy."

Thanks for making it possible for us to share in Brian's Celebration of Life service. He was thoughtfully and well remembered. May God bless you.

     We got to meet Brian at Meadowlands Baptist Church and soon became friends.  When Brian and Colleen joined our Sunday School class,  Selma  and Coleen had an almost instant friendship and Brian  and I also clicked.  We have missed you  since your move.
     Now that Brian has been called home, our hearts agonize for the loss you have experienced, Colleen, We pray that God will comfort you and help you to deal with moments of loneliness.

Brian was a good godly Christian. He served God well. I had the pleasure of calling him stepfather for almost 20 years. He is now in the arms of his Heavenly Father. We will miss you Brian. and will see you again in Heaven.

Knowing Brian and Colleen from their first Days at Meadowlands Baptist Church was a blessing.  I, along with many others of our church family, will always remember Brian for his wonderful smile and firm handshakes every Sunday as a greeter.  We also had good times of fellowship outside the church setting.  Fishing with Brian brings back many good memories.  It was something he loved to do and he was very competitive, always a fun time.  My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to you Colleen and all your family.  May God comfort you all at this time.

Colleen, Becky and I are so sorry for your loss.  We really enjoyed our visit with you both a couple of years ago and miss that we will not be able to do this again in that way.  

I remember when I was first saved in June of 2014 and I was always excited to come to Sunday church to see Brian and shake his hand.  He always had a smile and was truly glad to see you.  When Brian and Colleen began their life together Brian was so happy and I was very happy for you both.

Grandpa-dear, that’s what his grandsons Luke and Owen called him. He was such a proud grandpa and so good with the boys. He is forever missed and we send our deepest condolences to his family.
