Charles Robert Coughlin

1943 – 2025

It is with saddened hearts that the family of Bob Coughlin announces his passing.

He will be forever missed by his loving wife of 50 years, Theresa (Tracy); numerous nieces, nephews, family members, friends; and his beloved cat, Taco.

Bob was predeceased by his parents, Christina and Clarence, and his brother, Wayne.

A devoted family man, Bob had a passion for antique cars especially his 1937 cabriolet he bought in 1969 , restored and sold this year (his dream car). He & his wife enjoyed the horse races and he always enjoyed sipping his guilty pleasure – a cup of hot chocolate. Bob was a quiet man, but his honesty and devotion were unmatched.

Mechanical Engineer, by trade, he & his wife travelled across Canada and Israel with his job commissioning boilers in the Power Plants. When he left CE Canada, he started his own company (CRC Energy Services Inc.) selling small & large motors – his main customer being Capital Power. He was devoted to ensuring his customers received special attention and they were very appreciative. He had a good bond with his vendors.
