Darrel was a salesman and an avid golfer. He loved traveling, photography, learning to play the guitar, and chatting with anyone he met, but most importantly he loved his family and friends deeply. Darrel will be remembered by all who knew him as a loving and kind gentleman who always put others before himself.
Darrel will be forever missed by the love of his life and wife of 61 years, Marilyn; daughter Lisa (Geoff), granddaughter Taylor (Stefan), great-grandsons Noah and Jonah, grandson Hunter (Kylee); son Darren (Kylie), grandchildren Bretton and Blaire; 4 sisters and 1 brother.
A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 16th at West Meadows Baptist Church (9333-199 Street NW Edmonton) with a reception to follow at the same location.
