Judy, Dawn, Tara.... my deepest condolences to you and your families during this time of loss. While our lives have taken separate paths over the years, I still want to express my sympathy and share my memories of Dennis.
As a kid, I remember him as a quiet but somewhat intimidating uncle thanks to his glass eye :) Over the years I got to know him as being kind, funny, and always there if you needed him to be. He was always ready with a joke or a one-liner that made everyone laugh! I remember the many days and nights spent at your place having sleepovers, staying up all night drinking Happy Pop, sleeping in the camper, all of the K-Days we went to together, the West-Ed trips, playing cards at the kitchen table, bbqs in the back yard, the grads, celebrations, and weddings we all spent together. As an adult, I will always remember you guys being a huge part of my Vegas wedding, and our shared wedding anniversaries. I am grateful that we got to be there for each other as much as we did when starting our own families. The time we all spent together was meaningful, fun, and will always be remembered.
Dennis was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, always putting his family first. For that I have always respected him and admired your tight family unit. He will be greatly missed. Best to you all during this time of sorrow and beyond.
