Donald Allan Anderson

Left to cherish Don’s memory is his wife of 43 years, Joyce Louise; his sisters-in-law, Eileen (Al) Derrien, Bernice (Henry) George, Jenny Davies, Kathy (Allan) Hildebrandt, and Patricia Ulmer as well as his nieces, nephews and many friends.

Don was predeceased by his parents, Helen and Frances.

Known for his love of life, Don will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of sharing in his company. He greatly enjoyed early morning coffee meetings and conversing with friends, both old and new. Don shared in many travel adventures with Joyce, including their winters in Mesa, Arizona. During these many trips, Don was always ready to try new and interesting cuisines. A good meal and great people is what made Don’s days bright.

A Celebration of Don’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Parkland Funeral Chapel, 3502 – 44 Avenue, Stony Plain, AB with Pastor Jacques Belzile officiating. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Don’s memory can be made to a local Animal Rescue charity of your choice.
