Doreen was called home on September 29th at the age of 86 surrounded by her children at the Misericordia Hospital.
Doreen will be remembered for the time she committed to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Stony Plain, her vegetable and flower gardens and for her love of the Oilers, Blue Jay’s and travelling.
Doreen is survived by her son Rodney (Kim) and daughter Janet (Mike); grandchildren Adam, Kyle, Cody (Rachel); great-grandchildren Alizay and Payton as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Harold; her children Bruce and Diane and her siblings Eileen, Allan and Ruth.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 5021 52 Ave, Stony Plain, AB, T7Z 1C2, CA, on October 13, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
