Douglas Garry Anderson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Douglas Garry Anderson born June 3, 1950 in Peace River, Alberta. After a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, Doug passed away peacefully at home on July 2, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Doug is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 55 years, Karen and their two beloved children Bobbi (Curtis) Liebrecht and Gary (Nilsa) Anderson. He was a proud papa of his loving and precious grandchildren – Nya, Alivia, Joshua and Sofia.

He is survived by his brother Ron (Marion) Anderson, and sisters Beverly Anderson and Glenda (Jim) Groom. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Terry and Joyce Anderson.

A devoted father, papa and brother, he was a Master Electrician turned successful entrepreneur. Doug loved fishing, motorbiking, attending car shows, his lakeside cabin and his second home in Phoenix. He was known for his sharp, unfiltered sense of humour and always brought a laugh. He cherished family and meaningful connections with friends.

A service to honor Doug will be held on July 17, 2026 at 1 PM at
