Edith is survived by her daughter Colleen (Mike) Annis; grandchildren: Kelly (Heather) Blanchard, Janann (Peter) Kessler, Sean (Amanda) Blanchard and Amanda (Christian) Nakano. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Edith was predeceased by her husband Howard and by her son Garry (Gloria). She was also predeceased by her parents Charles and Maggie Nord; her brothers Ted and Jack Noyes and Charles (Sonny) Nord as well as both sisters Evelyn (Reg) Belair and Kay (Clarence) Moory and one daughter-in-law Cecile Blanchard.
A private celebration of Edith’s life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of the Cottages, Good Samaritan Home in Stony Plain for their care of Edith in her final year.
If friends wish, donations can be made in Edith’s name to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the dementia research.
