Edna Louise Borynec

1939 – 2026

Edna Louise (Farman) Borynec passed away Saturday, August 8th, peacefully surrounded by her loving husband and family at her side. She was predeceased by her parents Myrtle and Sigfrid Farman, and stepfather Joe Long, her sisters Eva, Edith and Elaine, son-in-law Paul Keating, and son Austin Borynec.

Left to cherish her memory and carry her love in their hearts, loving husband of 65 years, Steve, daughters Rosemarie (Craig), Lorelei (Gord), grandson Steven (Kayla), great grandsons Noah, Kayden, Liam and their mother Kim; granddaughter Madison (Brennan), great granddaughter Estie; Dawn (Terry), grandson Nicholas; son Wade (Barbara), grandson Joshua (Hayley) great granddaughter May-Bell, grandson Jaremy, and grandson Jonah (Michelle). Edna will be deeply missed by each of them and the love and memories they shared with her will remain in their hearts forever.

Edna had the voice of an angel and sang for so many special occasions. She showed her love to all that she met with her smile, baking and wonderful sense of humor. Words used to describe Edna were selfless and generous, she was Baba to everyone.

Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Carvel, Alberta at 10:30 am, Wednesday, August 19th, 2026
