Edward (Ted) O’Doherty, age 84, passed away on August 13, 2026, after a courageous battle with mesothelioma. A proud and dedicated sheet metal worker, Ted spent his entire career in the trade he loved.
Ted was the devoted husband of Diane O’Doherty (née Chapman) for 63 years, and a cherished father to Ian (Chantel) and Brenda (David). He was a beloved grandfather to Shawna, Marlee, Ryann, Angela, and Christine, and a proud great-grandfather to 11 great-grandchildren.
Remembered for his humour, strength, and deep love for family, Ted leaves behind a legacy of stories and laughter that will be treasured always.
