Elda Wentland

On June 30, 2026, Elda Wentland (nee Wiesinger) of Stony Plain, AB, passed away at the age of 86.

She leaves to mourn her loving husband Norman; her children Ellen (Chris) Thompson, Myron Wentland and Lorne (Sherry) Wentland; 2 grandchildren Olivia and Serena; her sister-in-law Jeanette Wiesinger and her cousin Karin Diesner. She has numerous nieces and nephews, all very dear to her.

She was predeceased by her parents Bernhard and Johanna Wiesinger and her brother Erwin Wiesinger.

The family would like to give their thanks to the staff at Whispering Waters.

A Funeral Service will be held at St. John Lutheran Church of Golden Spike, 51301 Range Rd 274, Spruce Grove, AB, on Thursday July 9, 2026 at 1:00 pm.
