She had a happy childhood growing up on the farm with her 5 siblings: Jim, Bill, Pete, Bob and Helen.
Betty served in the Air Force in WWII and returned to the home farm in Tomahawk. She later moved to live with her sister Helen, in Duffield where she enjoyed gardening, building rock walls, and being entertained by her nephews and nieces.
Betty passed peacefully with family by her side at the WestView Long Term Care after recently celebrating her 101st birthday.
