Evelyn Winnifred Darimont

On January 26, 2012, Evelyn Darimont passed away at the age of 96 years. Evelyn will be sorrowfully missed by family and friends.

Family and Friends are invited for a time of Prayers on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. from Parkland Funeral Chapel, 3502 - 44 Avenue, Stony Plain. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. from Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 200 Boundary Road, Spruce Grove, with Father Paul Terrio, Celebrant.

If friends desire, Memorial Tributes may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, Cross Cancer Institute, 10560 University Avenue, Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2 or to the Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by her family: daughters, Jeanne (Jim) Miller, Lois (Terry) Wood and Dianne (Dennis) Burger, step-daughter Doreen Leia, daughter-in-law Faye Letourneau and sister-in-law Gloria Hudson, 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Raymond Darimont, her 1st husband Louis Letourneau, her parents Eugene and Ida (Wilson) Hudson, her brothers, Stan and Alvin Hudson, and children Phyllis (Eugene) Ouellet, Ken, Shirley, Dale and Dennis Letourneau and her sweet sister-in-law Gabrielle Darimont.

She devoted her life to serving the Lord which showed in her loving care and prayers for her family and friends.

She is among the angels now and we will love her forever.
