Frances Patricia Scott

It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Frances Patricia Scott of Duffield, AB, announces her passing on October 24, 2025, at the age of 100 years.

Pat will be forever loved by her daughters Audrey (Cliff) Goerz and Wendy (David) Wild; her sons Cliff (Lu) and Wayne (Corinne); daughter-in-law Deb Scott; her 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Lois Gibbons as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Pat was predeceased by her husband Jack; her son Ron; her parents Edwin and Frieda Woollard; her sister Marguerite and her brothers Ed and Fred.

Pat will be remembered for her love of playing the piano, knitting, gardening and the outdoors, as well as for her involvement in community service organizations. She was an active lifetime member of the Duffield W.I. She was also an excellent baker, making cakes for many special occasions.

A Celebration of Pat’s life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Duffield Hall. A private internment will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Pat’s memory to STARS, the Stollery Children’s Hospital or to the Whispering Waters Comfort Fund.
