Gayle Lehto

It is with profound sadness, the family of Mrs. Gayle Lehto of Spruce Grove, Alberta announces her passing on February 6, 2025 at the age of 81.

She will be deeply mourned by her husband of 58 years, Gordon; her brother Glen (Sherry); children, Lynn (Glenn), Greg (Lesley) and Leanne (Jason); grandchildren, Haley (Shane), Sara, Olivia (Aaron), Jaya, Garrett, Emersyn and Shepard; and great grandson Chase.

Gayle was predeceased by her parents, Jorgen & Wilma Ringdal and her brother Wilmer Ringdal.

Born and raised in Vancouver, Gayle met Gordon and they made homes in Prince George, Cranbrook, and Whitecourt before settling in Spruce Grove in 1980. Gayle worked as a Realtor for over 20 years making life-long friends with colleagues and clients. She loved to garden and travel but her happiest times were spent at the cabin on Wabamun Lake and staying involved in the ever-changing lives of her grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Parkland Funeral Services in Stony Plain, AB
