Gertie is survived by her husband Danny of 54 years; her two daughters: Tammy, and Danelle (Rene); her son Dennis (Trudy), her grandchildren Gabrielle, Derrick (Jamie), Amanda (Evan), and Melissa (Darren); her great-grandchildren Taylor and Oakley.
Gertie was predeceased by her parents, her sister Florence, and by her brother Arthur.
Gertie impacted the lives of many in Spruce Grove through her tender hearted soul. She will be remembered not only by her immediate family and friends but the family she gained through the Parkland Baptist Church as well.
