Grant is survived by his wife of almost 30 yrs, Susan; his children: Lynell (Clayton) & Matthew (Desirae); his precious grandchildren: Makenna, Colsyn, Presley & Georgia. Grant is also survived by his extended family and many Oilfield friends.
Grant was predeceased by his parents Bill and Gladys, his father-in-law Dave Tibbs & his beloved dog Reno.
Grant spent his entire life working in the oil patch, spending the last 20 years with Husky Oil as their Rig Move Coordinator in the Lloydminster area. A job he truly loved.
Grant & Susan enjoyed their property in Surprise, AZ for 8 yrs, spending time on the golf course & in the pool. They also enjoyed time spent with new friends they made in Yuma, taking motorcycle trips throughout Arizona.
Susan would like to thank STARS & the Emergency Staff at the U of A Hospital, especially Nurse Alyssa who was a constant support for her in Grant’s final hours.
Donations in Grant’s memory can be made to STARS Air Ambulance as well as Second Chance Animal Rescue Society (SCARS).
Due to COVID restrictions a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
