Leslie Alvin Lakusta

Les will be remembered for his stories, his many hats and his extensive t-shirt collection. He loved boats and built many that are still afloat around Western Canada. He enjoyed target shooting, building motors, old (vintage) cars and cats. His enjoyment of all things feline grew when he managed Kitty City, a kitty kennel, for many years. He made friends wherever he went and was always eager to share a conversation with them.

Les was proud of his five grandchildren: Alex and Madison Lakusta, and Justin, Mark and Brent Watson. He was also Papa Les to Sean, Jacsen, Elizabeth, Isaac, and Pierce.

He was pre-deceased by his parents Mitchell and Anne Lakusta. He is survived by his children, Kathy (Scott) Watson and Michael (Trudy) Lakusta, their children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his long time partner, Joanne and her family.

In accordance with Leslie’s wishes there will be no service held. The families extend their appreciation for all the expressions of sympathy and support received.
