It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Blaszczuk (née Fitness) of Spruce Grove, Alberta on August 24, 2026. Affectionately known as Sharon, and lovingly known as Nan to her family, Sharon was the third of seven siblings, born to her parents, William & Velma Fitness, in Paris, Ontario.
Sharon was pre-deceased by the love of her life and husband of 47 years, John (2014). Much like the beautiful flowers she tended to in her garden, Sharon spent her life nurturing her family with endless love and care. Sharon was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Nora and Mary (Marcus), as well as a cherished grandmother to her grandchildren, Kein (Abby) and Sydney.
While Sharon’s garden was her happy place, her family was her greatest pride. Sharon planted seeds of kindness, patience, and love in each of us and her spirit will bloom in our hearts forever.
