

Raymond Walter Anderson, aged 83, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on October 8, 1942, in Shellbrook, Saskatchewan, Ray’s life was a testament to love, family, and working hard.
He is survived by the “light of his life” Cheryl of 53 years; their two children, Damen (Heather) and Kelly (Steve) and seven grandchildren: Dylan, Jack, Alex, and Kaitlyn Anderson and Livia, Sylvie and Avilene Day.
He treasured his family and dedicated his life to creating deep family roots. Ray’s passion for music, poetry, storytelling, advice, and warm hugs will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him. He also lived and breathed Matco, a family business he co-owned for nearly 50 years.
A celebration for Ray’s life will be held on November 9, 2025, at the Heritage Park Pavilion, Parkland Hall 2nd floor, 5100-41 Ave, Stony Plain 1pm-4pm.
