1947 - 2025
It is with great sadness that the family of Mr. Richard Erickson of Onoway, AB, announces his passing on October 19, 2025, at the age of 78 years.
Richard will be remembered as a kind and gentle soul who was well loved and admired by many. He was a meticulous builder and had his fingerprints on many projects from Edmonton to Fort McMurray and Jasper and beyond into B.C.
Richard will forever be loved by his wife and best friend of 51 years Lynn; his daughters Kim (Richard) and Abbe (Kris); his son Josh (Sheila); his grandchildren: Natasha, Amanda, Xander, Faith, Matthew, Jennifer, Alexander, Ray, Ali, and Westleigh and by his great-grandchildren: Emma, Luella, and Fraiser. He is also survived by his brothers Neal (Dale) & Bruce; his sister Lorraine (Gary) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and many dear friends.
Richard was predeceased by his parents Grace & Arthur; his sisters Yvonne & Marion and by his brother Joe.
