Richard Thomas McCullough

Richard was born on July 23, 1939 and was a resident of Lac Ste Anne County, AB.

Richard passed away on April 5th, with his beloved wife Mary, of nearly 65 years, by his side. He was predeceased by his parents, Edgar and Eugenie, and his brother, Don. He was a loving father to their four children; Colleen, Dee, Shelley, and Mark; and the best grandfather/great-grandfather. His life was lived to the fullest, defined by hard work, faith, generosity, and the deepest love for family, friends, and the outdoors. He was always ready to lend a hand, and made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He found his greatest joy spending time with those he loved—especially camping and on the farm — sharing stories, and playing 31 with the occasional rye in hand.

He will be remembered for his warm smile, his humour, and the admiration he had for rugged places, wildlife, and his family and friends.

Richard was an amazing man.

Prayer Services will be held at Lac Ste Anne Catholic Church, 3510 Lac Ste Anne Trail, Alberta Beach, Alberta, on April 16, 2026, at 7:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Lac Ste Anne Catholic Church, 3510 Ste Anne Trail, Alberta Beach, Alberta, on April 17, 2026, at 1:00 pm.

A Reception will follow at Alberta Beach 50+ Senior's Club, 5012 - 49 Avenue, Alberta Beach, Alberta, on April 17, 2026, at 2:30 pm.
