Robert Lloyd McComb

On Tuesday, the 17th of February 2026, Robert (Bob) passed away in his home at the age of 88. Bob was a proud retired Sergeant of the Canadian Air Force, honourably serving 25 years, and contributing to numerous United Nations missions worldwide. A viewing for family and close friends was held on the 21st of February, 2026.

Bob was a loving father of five children, Steve (Julie) McComb, Sandra (Randall) Deeves, Brenda (Tim) McKinney, Tim (Karen) McComb and Mark (Melinda) McComb.

Grandfather of Shaun (Faith) Deeves, Matthew (Kihya) McComb, Jennifer (Steve Reiter) Bauer, Brandon (Kristina) Deeves, Alysia McComb, Colin McComb, Kaitlin McComb, Alexis McComb, Celee Rae (Brad) Lake and Ryan Wozny.

Great-grandfather of Ryland, Abigail, Dayelynne, Lennox, Tatum, Ollie, Baker, Wayne, Kirby and Wylee.

Bob is survived by his sister Grace, brother Ken, sister-in-laws Cindy and Edith, brother-in-law Keith and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Bert and Mary, his loving wife of 68 years, Dorothy. two brothers Orval and Wayne, sister Pat, sister-in-law Geraldine and brother-in-law Ray.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 06, 2026, at the Stony Plain Legion, 4902 44 Avenue, Stony Plain, AB, from 12:00-4:00pm.
