1942 – 2023
The family of Mr. Ronald Martel of Stony Plain, AB. regrets to announce his passing on October 31, 2023 at the age of 81 years.
When he wasn’t enjoying time with his family he could often be found in the great outdoors. Ron will be remembered as an avid hunter, fisherman, and camper.
Left to mourn Ron is his wife and best friend of 61 years, Betty; his daughter Michele Hickie (Claude Caya); his sons Ron (Marita) Martel & Gregory Martel (Lisa Chouinard); granddaughter Alyshia Chouinard (Robert Jackson); grandsons: Blake Hickie, Brady and Nathan Martel; 3 great-grandchildren; his brother Dale (Jane Anne) Martel as numerous other extended family and friends.
Ron was predeceased by his parents Zenon and Alice; his step-father Abe and by his brother Earl.
