Sandra Ann Nickel

1948 – 2026

It is with deep sadness that the family of Sandra Ann Nickel announces her passing.

Sandra will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 14 years, Arthur; her sons, Dee (Tracy) Thompson and Reno (Carol) Carlina; her stepsons, Lou Bioletti and Cecil (Margaret) Bioletti; her daughters, Karen (Dean) Charles and Beth (Al) Squair; and her stepdaughters, Jennifer (Chris) Winter and Frances (James) Chia.

Sandra also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, her mother-in-law Kathleen Gilgan, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who were like family.

Sandra was predeceased by her parents, Hubert and Hilda Thompson; her sisters Leah Hunt and Donna Runge, her daughter-in-law, Tracy; and her first husband, Ted Bioletti.

Sandra was known for her deep love of family and friends. She also held a special place in her heart for her pets and animals, who brought her much joy and companionship.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 24, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Whitby Community Hall in Brazeau County, Alberta.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Sandra’s name to the SPCA.

Sandra will be forever loved, remembered, and deeply missed.
