Susan Gail Wareing

Susan was born in Edmonton, Alberta in 1960, daughter of Douglas and Clare Brown.

Susan had a passion for teaching and worked for Edmonton Public for over 30 years teaching elementary school. She was well loved by students and colleagues alike. Many former students would come visit her later in their lives, proving the positive impact she had influencing young minds around Edmonton.

Susan was predeceased by her parents, Douglas and Clare (Tinney) Brown.

She is survived by her children, Brent (Yen) and Jeff (Gina), her grandchildren Arya, Brienne, James and Sophia. Her siblings Ronald (Carolyn), Alan (Claudette) and Russell (Lavina), as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Stony Plain United Church on October 12, 2024 at 2pm.
