Theresa Rose passed away peacefully on July 1, 2019 in Edmonton, Alberta at the Misericordia Hospital at the age of 67 years. Theresa was born in 1951 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. At the age of 19 Theresa moved to Edmonton, raised three children and had a long career at Sears and Sobeys. Theresa had a passion for collecting angels and crystals. Theresa loved to sit around the table drinking coffee, talking for hours with friends and performing readings. Theresa also had a passion for sewing and baking. Holidays were always filled with fresh baked goods right out of the oven, a full crock pot of cabbage rolls and a freshly rolled batch of perogies.
Theresa was loved by many lifelong friends including Louise Artic from Saskatoon and Diane Stone from Toronto, as well close friends Andrea and Wayne in Edmonton. Theresa is survived by her children: Bobbi (Dave) Engler, Jeanni (Peter) Guenther and Ryan Guenther; her five grandchildren: Alyssa, William, Ty, Ashton and Cole; godson Mathew Dobler. Her siblings: MaryAnn Karlenzig, Ron (Debbie) Berezowski, Wesley (Rhonda) Berezowski, Diane Berezowski and Pat (Larry) Balzer; her uncle Johnny Esakin as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Theresa was predeceased by her mother Anne Berezowski, father John (Tato) Berezowski, brother in law Rod Karlenzig, brother Ken Berezowski, nephew Spencer Berezowski, niece Bernadette Doerksen and close friend Ed Artic.
Celebration of Theresa's life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday July 12, 2019 at Parkland Funeral Services, 3502 - 44 Ave Stony Plain reception to follow. All is welcome
