

Born in Phil Campbell, Alabama, Mr. Lauderdale had previously lived in Okeechobee, FL, before relocating to the Stuart area fifty years ago.
Mr. Lauderdale had worked for Florida Power and Light in the Miami, Okeechobee, and Cape Canaveral areas before retiring. He was a past Master, as well as a 32 degree member for the Acacia Mason Lodge No. 163 in Stuart and a member of the Stuart VFW. Mr. Lauderdale was also a member of the America Legion in Jensen Beach.
He was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Salerno.
Mr. Lauderdale was a veteran of the United States Army and had proudly served our country in World War II.
He is lovingly survived by his son, Michael Lauderdale of Stuart, Florida; son, Peppi Lauderdale; nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Mr. Lauderdale was predeceased by his wife 50 years, Lillian and his son, Larry.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart, FL.
