

A native of Asbury Park, N.J., he lived in Stuart since re-locating from Spring Lake Heights, N.J, in 1983.
He was a Navy Veteran serving during World War II and longtime member of the American Legion.
After honorable discharge, he worked for the Coca-Cola Bottling Co. of Asbury Park, N.J. as Route Salesman and District Sales Manager until his retirement in 1983.
He was active in many sports throughout his Grammar/High School years, earning 3 varsity letters in H.S. football, and afterwards playing several years semi-pro football for the Shore Yellow Jackets.
Survivors include four sons; Robin Carver of Winchester, Va., Gordon Carver of Ellington, Ct., Tom Carver of St. Helens, Or., and Alan Carver of Melbourne Beach, Fl. and 10 grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Rita Koplin Carver, and son, Glenn Carver.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2011 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM with a Memorial Service to follow at Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart, Florida .
