Christine Irene Berberich

Christine Berberich passed away peacefully with her husband and son at her side at a hospice on January 5th, 2021. She acquired COVID and within a week we lost a great friend, a wonderful mother, devoted wife of 50 years and a super loving grandma.

Chris was born in Jersey City, NJ on October 14, 1948. She graduated from Snyder High School. She married Raymond Berberich on October 24, 1970, Chris and Ray just celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary this past year.

Chris was mainly a great homemaker and caregiver, but she enjoyed boating, fishing, crabbing and golf, as long as it was warm outside. Chris would most likely catch the first fish of the day and even the most. Following the warm weather, Chris lived in New Jersey during the summer months and Florida during the winter months. She enjoyed talking with and being with her friends as well as playing golf with them. What Chris loved to do the most though was to be with family, especially her grandchildren, Riley and Jack. She was the most loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Chris is survived by her husband Ray Berberich, her son Craig Berberich, her daughter in -law Danielle Berberich and her 2 grandchildren, Riley and Jack Berberich. She was predeceased by her loved daughter Michele Berberich and her brother Ron Paul.

There will be no services at this time with a future celebration of life planned. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
