Darlyne Louise Ford

December 26, 1931-September 7, 2025

Darlyne, age 93, went to be with the Lord and her predeceased husband Jim, of 72 years.

Darlyne is survived by three adult children; Linda DeSanti (Leonard), Steve Ford (Tara) and Bill

Ford (Diane), 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Darlyne was born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL, attending Palm Beach High School. She

met her husband Jim on a blind date on July 4, 1949 and married him on April 27, 1952.

Most of her working career was in banking in West Palm Beach. She enjoyed square dancing

and camping. Upon retiring, she and Jim moved to Fort White, Florida. Some of her favorite

activities after retirement were cooking, gardening and tubing down the river.

Darlyne and Jim moved to Stuart to be closer to their family in 2020, and was blessed to find

her church home at First Street Chapel in Hobe Sound.

Darlyne’s smile and compassion for others will be missed, but she has just changed her

address like so many other Christians who leave the earth for Heaven.

A private family graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Memorial at 11:00 am, Church
