Donna was born on February 14, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio, to Fred & Ella Koppitch. Donna grew up in Cleveland, Ohio where she graduated from Shaker Heights High School. Donna met her husband Bill on a blind date set up by her friend, Marge Kostelnik (Bill’s sister). Donna and Bill were married on June 30, 1951 and had four children. They were happily married for over 60 years. They moved to West Palm Beach in 1960 and retired to Hobe Sound in 1996.
Donna was very active in her church, Our Savior Lutheran and then Bethel Lutheran. She enjoyed spending time with friends & family. She spent many early mornings at the YMCA, and then filled the rest of her day playing cards with friends, doing water aerobics, baking, and reading mystery books.
Donna was predeceased by her husband, Bill, survived by her son, Bill (Sue), daughters: Linda (George) Sprague, Kathy (Joel) Ussery and Barbara (Steve) Byrd; nine grandchildren: Jeffrey, Steven (Karen), Marcus (Krista), Kevin (Alli), Kelly (Kyle), Becky, Megan (James), Jessica and Steven and several great grandchildren.
The viewing will be on Sunday, March 1, 2020 from 4 - 6 pm at Aycock Funeral Home Young & Prill Chapel, 6801 SE Federal Highway, Stuart, FL 34997. Services will be held on Monday, March 2, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Bethel Lutheran Church, 7905 SE Federal Hwy, Hobe Sound, FL 33455, followed by internment.
