Born in Berwyn, Illinois, Mrs. Winter became a permanent resident of Nettles Island in 2000.
She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, and loved to sing and dance. During her earlier years, she enjoyed dressing up as a clown and was affectionately known as "Twinkle Toes". Mrs. Winter volunteered for many years and was a member of The Sons of Norway.
Mrs. Winter will be missed.
She is survived by her loving sons, Daniel and Charles; daughter, Christine and many other loving family members.
Mrs. Winter was predeceased by her husband, Charles Sr. in 2006 and her son, Dean in 2003.
