Eugene Allen Kincaid, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away on April 7, 2026. He was born on September 30, 1938, and lived a life defined by kindness, humor, and an extraordinary ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
Eugene was widely known as a great storyteller—someone who could turn an everyday moment into a memorable tale. He was exceptionally friendly, endlessly approachable, and genuinely kind. People were naturally drawn to him, and it was rare for him to meet a stranger who did not quickly become a friend. His warmth, laughter, and easygoing nature left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.
For many years, Eugene built a successful career in advertising in Manhattan, working as an advertising executive in New York City. Never one to shy away from life’s twists and turns, he later made a bold and joyful change—leaving NYC behind to purchase a moving company in New Hampshire. With characteristic humor, he delighted in telling friends that he had gone from being an “AD Executive to a Trucker,” a line that perfectly summed up his wit and humility. In his later years, Eugene brought his people-first approach to his work as a real estate agent, where his kindness and genuine interest in others served him well.
At the heart of Eugene’s life was his family. He shared 64 loving years of marriage with his wife, Jean P. Kincaid, a partnership built on devotion, laughter, and deep mutual respect. He was a proud father to Susan Voda (spouse Robert Beall) and Sarah Kincaid (spouse Christine Rayner).
Eugene was a cherished grandfather to Samantha Voda (spouse AJ DeMichele), Madeline Voda, and Emerson McEvoy, and a devoted step‑grandfather to Gunther Beall, Calvin Beall, Maren Beall, Oliver Rayner, and Alfie Rayner, whom he loved just as deeply as his own. He was recently blessed with his first great‑grandchild, June Jin DeMichelle, a joy that meant the world to him.
Above all else, Eugene will be remembered as a man who made people feel seen, heard, and valued. His stories, his laughter, and his generous spirit will live on through his family and the many lives he touched.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
