

29, 2024 at the age of 52. Born on March 1,1972 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, James was a person with remarkable character who faced life’s changes with adaptability and strength.
James was a loving and supportive husband. Although our paths had diverged, James remained an important part of her life,and the respect and affection they shared endured. As a son, James was a caring,supportive,and devoted presence. His love and warmth will be remembered always. James was a cherished son and a true light in the lives of all whom he has touched. As a father he showed an endless amount of love, remarkable support, and inspirational guidance. His presence as a father was one of leadership, integrity, and compassion. He approached his family and friends with dedication and was known for his caring nature, always willing to support others in their time of need. As a brother he was a great protector with a gentle soul. We believe that God has put James at peace and has given his spirit freedom. We will forever remember James' quick wit, artistic mind, sense of humor and a kind heart. This is a testament to his commitment and enthusiasm for life. James’ spirit and love will be dearly missed.
James is survived by his parents Terry and Jeff Clark, Hidy Gonzales (wife), Rylie Norton (daughter), Rilie Gonzales (stepdaughter), Aden Coggins (stepson), Niki Norton (sister), Ridgway Clark (brother), David Clark (brother), Joey Fleetwood (sister), grandchildren, Cason, Jeremy, Lila, Ava, and Hope Jarosewski (mother-in-law) who will always hold dear the memories of his life and the moments they shared together. He is also survived by his beloved chihuahua Petey. All will remember him for the great man he was.
A memorial service to honor James will be held on August 23, 2024 at Aycock Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate his life and the love he brought into the world.
We kindly request that attendees wear blue, as blue was James’ favorite color. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Project Lift in Palm City FL, in recognition of James’ passion for construction and his love of building and creating. All donations to Project Lift will go towards building a bench in the park dedicated to James Norton.
Though James is no longer with us, his spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
