John Henry Crane

John Henry Crane went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ at 3:30 am, February 13, 2015. Henry was born on December 10, 1929 in Fort Pierce, FL. He moved to Port Salerno when he was six years old. He co-founded Krauss & Crane, Inc. and C & W Fish Company. He served as a Director of Seacoast National Bank since 1983. Henry was also a Commercial Fisherman for many years. His love of the ocean and fishing was known by all who knew him. He was a member of Beacon Baptist Church in Jupiter, FL and also enjoyed serving as a Gideon for the Palm Beach North Camp. Henry is survived by his beloved wife, Frances M. Crane; four children, Kathy (Kim) Wojcieszak; Jackie (Bob) Maune; John (Elizabeth) Crane, III and Sam (LeeAnne) Crane, all of Stuart, FL; three step-children, Randy (Chris) Jones of Cypress, TX; Rusty (Lynda) Jones of Port St. Lucie; Libby (John) Smith of Merry Hill, NC; 16 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister, Marie Stanger of Port Salerno. His mother, father, sister, brother and a granddaughter preceded him in death. Visitation will be 6 PM to 8 PM, Friday, February 20, 2015 at Aycock Funeral Home Young & Prill Chapel, 6801 SE Federal Hwy., Stuart and 10 AM to 11 AM, Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Beacon Baptist Church, 11616 West Indiantown Rd., Jupiter with services beginning at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Pine Rest Cemetery, Port Salerno, FL with military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Gideon’s International, Palm Beach North Camp, P. O.
