

Loving Husband, Father, Brother and Son Joseph Dennis Mannix passed away on Tuesday September 26th, 2023, with his friends and family by his side. Joseph was born on November 26, 1937, to Joseph and Claire Mannix. He grew up in Buffalo, NY and graduated Saint Joseph’s High School. His family moved to Florida and he then went into the Army and served as a Ham Operator. Shortly after his return from deployment he married and had his three children, Donald, Patricia and Kathleen. He was blessed again later in life and remarried his “Princess” Ruth Mannix welcoming her two adored boys, Robert and Paul Colozzo. Joseph worked his entire life in the Tile and Marble Industry as an Estimator. He was well respected in the industry and dedicated himself to making the companies he worked for successful. He was known as one of the hardest-working, honest and most reliable men in the field. Outside of work he dedicated himself to his family and church. He enjoyed spending time with his family, attending church, gardening, watching the Miami Dolphins and attending every celebration of his treasured family and friends. Joseph Mannix is survived by his wife, Ruth Mannix, his children Donald Mannix, Kathleen Mannix, Patricia Cantrell, Step-children Robert (Wendy), Paul (Kristen) Colozzo and his cherished sister Linda Godek and her husband Alfred Godek.
A funeral service for Joseph will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home Young & Prill Chapel, 6801 SE Federal Highway, Stuart, FL 34997. A reception will occur Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 6801 SE Federal Highway, Stuart, FL 34997. A visitation will occur Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 6801 SE Federal Highway, Stuart, FL 34997.
