Born in Scranton, PA, Ken had previously lived in Belvidere, New Jersey before moving to the Stuart area 11 years ago.
He was a Seabee for the United States Navy, and was stationed at Camp David, MD for three years. Ken graduated from Penn State University and was a senior design engineer for Roche Vitamins and Fine Chemicals for 26 years. He was a member of several golf clubs in New Jersey and was currently a member of Lost Lake in Hobe Sound, FL.
He loved to golf, was an Eagle Scout and had a passion for gardening and cooking. Ken was also a NY Yankees fan, as well as the NY Giants, and loved Frank Sinatra. He enjoyed travelling with his wife, Katherine as well as going on cruises.
Ken is survived by his wife of 27 years, Katherine M. Baker of Stuart, FL; step-son, Brian Dean Moore and his wife, Cathy of Belvidere, NJ; sister in law, Carol Devine; two nephews, Keith and Craig Devine, and three step grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, Quentin and Mary Baker; Aunt “Lou” and brother in law, Bill Devine and his nephew Scott Devine.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 21 at 12:00PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stuart, FL.
