Johnny Lee was an inspirational  person for young lawyers . His intellect and teaching skills were exceptional . A fine man and he will be missed . Your dad was born the same year as my father 1928

Lee was my friend, brother, counselor, coach, and sometimes father.  I have so many memories, wonderful times at McKendree UMC and Circle Players. Next to my husband, James, Lee was the finest man I have ever known.  We shared a love of theatre and were cast members in a number of plays.  Most memorable was Harvey. His performance was stellar - he should have been on Broadway.  I loved him and will miss his presence in this world. Hey, Lee give “Jim” a kiss for me.

Mr. Ellis and Mooie were like family to me after Dottie and I became  friends over 40 years ago.   He always had a kind smile, sometimes a humorous comment , and always words of wisdom.   We will miss him.

So sorry to hear about your father’s passing. The photos you posted show a life well lived and a man well loved. I know he had been ill for some time, but it is still hard to say goodbye. You are in our prayers.
