I spent many wonderful years with Maria and Charlie when they lived in the Catskills.  Our families were close friends. In later years, after they moved to Florida, they spent their summers in our cabin.  I also enjoyed the pleasure of knowing Maris’s father and sister Annie.  I loved helping Maria with her sewing projects, brushing the dog and gardening. Evenings were spent with the whole family playing poker. Such fun carefree times.  Now that summer is here, all those memories arise, she is missed!

Maria was a close friend of our family as was Annie and their father. I’m so sorry to see that she is gone. We had wonderful times together when she stayed in our cabin in Mt. Tremper  near Willow. I miss those times .  I’m happy that she is now reunited with her family and her Charlie. 
My sincerest condolences to the family.
