To one of the most handsome men on the planet -   I wish I could sit on the back deck with you just one more time -  I sure did enjoy our last conversation in Annapolis, and the visit with you and Gabby.  Rest in Peace.

You were a great influence on me- both as your aide-de-camp at Quantico and later as a special agent. I am sorry at your passing. It was wonderful to visit you in Maryland and exchange letters.

I am sorry for your loss. My father served with General Ashley during WWII on Guam with the 3rd Pioneer Battalion, Company A and continued with him to China. My dad died in 1974. No matter when it occurs, the loss is deeply felt; what a special generation.

It was an honor to have you as my grandfather. Rest in peace.

Our deepest condolences to the Ashley family.  Beverly and I have fond memories of our times together in Bangkok and Quantico.  As well as for our intervening visits.  Mike, you are deeply missed as a respected Marine, fellow general officer, and friend.  Semper Fidelis.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I worked at the unemployment insurance office with him.  I have many memories and learned a great deal working with him.  He accomplished much in this life and leaves a legacy to be proud of.
