Mr. Mike Allen Turner, age 75, of Stuart, Florida passed away April 1, 2014. Mr. Turner was born in Alba, Texas the son of the late Harvey Turner and Lillian McKenzie Turner. He served his country in the U. S. Air Force. Mr. Turner retired from Florida Power and Light as a staff accountant with 47 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and fishing. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Stuart, Florida. Mr. Turner was also preceded in death by a baby boy Turner and a brother, Hal Buford Turner. Survivors are his wife of 51 years, Betty Fargason Turner of Stuart, Florida and son, Scott Turner of Stuart; sisters, Alice T. Werner of Saint Charles, MO, Sue T. Cowsert of Alba, Texas and Carol T. Martin of Ft. Worth, TX, and Jan T. Thorsen of Jacksonville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Mr. Turner will Monday, April 7, 2014 – 1:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Hammonds officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery
