She graduated from Jiangsu Institute of Education in China; she has been an award winning educator for 35 years with numerous publications in Chemistry and over 7000 students around the world. She was the executive committee director of Halian County Association for Women in the 1960s and a profound artist on water painting and garden.
She is survived by her husband Shumo, daughter Jing (Sophia), son Ying (Sean), and grandchildren Rui (Darwin), Si (Austin) and Yi (Grace), and her brother Jing Chen.
A funeral service will be held privately.
