

Patricia Lee Cannon, 84, of Hobe Sound, Florida passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Stuart Nursing Home, Stuart, FL. Born on April 25, 1931 in Mercer County, Pennsylvania she was raised as an infant by her parents. Later, she was raised by her adoptive parents, Lee and Catherine Roberts in Livingston, NJ. Pat was a 1949 graduate of Grover Cleveland High School and a graduate of Catherine Gibbs Secretarial School. She was employed by Sandoz, George Magley Real Estate and Weichert. She was a member of the Morris County Board of Realtors and Christ the King Church, New Vernon, NJ. On June 27, 1953 she married Herbert M. Cannon and they remained devoted to each other until her passing. Pat’s many diverse interests included tennis, the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox, golf, horse racing, playing cards, gourmet cooking, gardening, crossword puzzles, traveling by train, comedy and classic movies. She was adored by her many friends, was a gracious hostess and the “life of the party”. By her family and especially her four grandsons, she was deeply loved. Survivors include: her husband Herbert Cannon; her sisters Mary Lou Crawford and Donna Scott; her children and their spouses Patricia and Michael Harm, Katherine and Jeffrey Moore, and James and Beth Cannon; and her grandsons Brendan Moore, Michael Harm, Devin Moore and Martin Harm. Memorial services will be a private affair for the immediate family. Her designated charity is Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 Southeast Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
