Patricia Marie Kavanaugh

Pat Kavanaugh was a long-time resident of Eaglewood, in Hobe Sound. She had been an avid golfer and gardener, had always been active in her church, loved good conversation, good books, travel, and most of all, her family.

Before moving to Florida, she lived for many years in Watchung, New Jersey, where she was extremely involved in community activities. She served as president of The Business and Professional Woman’s Club, the Watchung Garden Club, the PTA, and participated in several organizations for children.

In addition, Pat worked for nearly 20 years for Welcome Wagon, Inc, as Senior Supervisor for the New York / New Jersey area. Her life was full, and she was beloved by nearly everyone she touched along the way. Pat was pre-deceased by her husband Frank Jr, and her son, Frank III.

She is survived by her daughter Sandy Moore, her son-in-law David Moore, grandchildren Michael and Kelly Kavanaugh, and Katie Moore, as well as great-grandchildren Julian and Violet Kavanaugh, Selene and Eva Delozier, Elliot Hickey and Julia Moore.

A memorial will will be held for her at the Hobe Sound Community Presbyterian Church on Saturday, August 5th at 11 AM.
