Paulette Patrica Rogers’ sunrise was on June 17, 1963, and was born in Bristol, England, to Violet Arscott (Anglin) and Lesco Lloyd Rogers. Paulette later moved to the United States, with her older brother, Lesco, to live with her mother and younger sister, Joyell. Paulette graduated from high school in the Bronx, NY, and went to Baruch College to pursue a degree in Business. She excelled in accounting and worked payroll for a large corporation in New York City.
Paulette was a devoted Pentecostal Christian. She dedicated her life to God in her teens while living in England. She loved her God with all her being and faithfully put Him above all else. Paulette was active in the church ministry of her home church in Brooklyn, NY. Paulette was gifted with a talent of a beautiful praise-choir voice, and when she sang, she connected with the purest and beautiful part of herself and her love for something greater than herself.
Paulette was very family-oriented and loved her family, especially her mother and siblings. She was described as full of life, with a laugh that was strong, infectious, and full of unbridled joy. She was a great story-teller and lit up a room with her presence. All will miss her. Paulette's sunset was March 3, 2020. She is survived by her mother Violet Arscott, and father, Lesco Lloyd Rogers. Her siblings, Joyell Arscott, Lesco Rogers, and Hyacinth Roberson, nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.
