Peter Gregory Watterson

Peter Gregory Watterson was called home to the Lord on May 3rd 2025. He was born on Oct. 30th 1959 in Avon Park, Florida and was a lifelong resident of the state. Peter Gregory grew up in West Palm Beach where he was an outstanding student at Twin Lakes High School and was a member of the chess club and nationally award-winning Debate Team. Pursuing his higher education at Florida Atlantic University, he earned a Masters Degree in Public Administration.

He enjoyed listening to the music of Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn, Bach---and The Beatles.

He loved his family as a devoted son, brother, nephew, and uncle, and they all treasured him as well!

Most importantly, he deeply loved God and was devoted to his Catholic faith, Holy Scripture, and the Eucharist. His greatest desire was to be with our Lord in heaven.

He was predeceased in death by his father, Rev. Peter F. Watterson, sister, Mary Theresa Watterson, and niece, Teresa Ann Watterson. He is survived by his mother, Mary Jane Watterson of Palm City, and siblings Paul Watterson (Lisa) of Winter Park, Mary Koedam (Donald) of Palm City, and John Watterson of Stuart, and nephews and nieces, Paul (Laura), Nick, Hannah (Lisian), and Katie.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 9th at 10 AM at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church Palm City, FL in the chapel. Interment to follow at Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, Royal Palm Beach, FL.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Vincent De Paul Society, Holy Redeemer Catholic Church Palm City, FL.
