Robert L. Siegers

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Siegers had been a resident of Orland Park, Illinois, prior to moving to Palm City, eighteen years ago.

He was a self employed general contractor in the Chicago suburbs, and was of Dutch Reformed faith.

Mr. Siegers was a veteran of the United States Navy and proudly served in World War II.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Diane Siegers, of Palm City, Florida; daughter, Dianne Simmons, of Kearney, Missouri; daughter, Laura Favretto of Kenai, Alaska; son, Mark Siegers, of Lockport, Illinois; son, Bernard Kay of Palos Heights, Illinois, son, Michael Kay, of Port Wing, Wisconsin; sisters, Lorraine Koster and Mildred Wiersma, both of Grand Rapids, Michigan; six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

A memorial service is to be held at 10 AM on Friday, February 25, 2011 at Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
