IM IN SHOCK, Ever since my graduation in 2011 I always felt bad for not getting the chance to say thank you and farewell as I headed into the next journey in my life as I was dealing with my own personal tragedy throughout graduation week. Through out the years I tried to reconnect with you through Facebook but was not able to find you online, until today. You were always pushing me in my math classes although I am still HORRIBLE at it haha, you were always down to earth and I remember how we would always talk about boxing or whatever was going on in the ufc, Im gonna miss you Mr. Thornton THANK YOU.

I had him as my math teacher in high school. He was so smart and cool. I loved his class, he really made us enjoy learning. Not only was he a great teacher, but a good friend, confidant, and overall good person. Many of us will remember him as the fun, good person he was. I can't believe i just found out about his passing, he will be missed dearly. 

I remember Concord. 

We blew all our visitation money at some pretentious restaurant we had absolutely no business being in. I just now looked it up and the name of the restaurant was "O," like the letter, which coincidentally was also our reaction to the prices. Still, we stretched the cash between us to a NY strip for me, I believe an Ahi tuna for you, and all the water we could possibly drink. It was one of the best meals I've ever had.

From this page, it's clear you've touched quite a few lives and mine is no exception. You were my closest friend at HM. Underneath all your intensity, or maybe inseparably woven into it, was one of the most caring and considerate people I have ever met. I looked up to you, man. Still do. 

You will be remembered and missed.

Hi, my prayers go to the family of Sean Patrick Thornton, Mr Thornton was my 10th grade Math teacher, he was my favorite teacher at Park Vista Community High School, he was the coolest and nicest guy he also helped me get through and pass my Algebra 2 class I’ll always appreciate that from him, I was just wondering what happened that resulted in his passing I just found out now 2 years later I was in Complete saddened disbelief always remember Mr. Thornton, RIP ❤️

Surprising To know.... that I'd Actually Reached Out to Travis in June 2018 after NO CONTACT for Over a COUPLE DECADES. 

I'd found out that Travis LIVED ONE HOOD OVER from Me.  
Our Personal Encounter NEVER took Place but WE had a BRIEF 
AWES🥰ME CHAT by phone after TRACKING Him down & to NOW realize...that U'd  actually PASSED about 5 WKS after 😔ur TALK.  At least, I've got MANY FOND MEMORIES of You & Your Family. ❤🙏😘

Every student has a teacher that has left an impact on them. A favorite. One that was relatable & believed in them... One that they'll always remember even when they're old. That's what Mr. Thorton will always be to me. Anyone who knows me knows about Mr. Thorton; even if they've never met him. I would literally brag about how much of a cool teacher he was. I looked forward to 3rd period daily. I was always telling hilarious stories about my experience in his class and we'd all just crack up. I'm talkin' ugly belly laughs! lol -- My sister (also his former student) and I were actually telling cool stories about him and then decided to look him up a few months ago to see where he's teaching now. This was not the news we were expecting. It broke our hearts and we immediately regretted looking him up.

Mr. Thorton, thank you. Thank you for giving me the most memorable and absolute favorite experience in high school. GradBash, prom, and not even graduation day can compete with having the opportunity to be your student. I will ALWAYS brag having one of the coolest teachers ever & tell stories about you.

Such an amazing person and teacher.  Actually made me like math! He was always so funny and gave great advice. I wish the best for the family, so sad to hear the news. 

Just found out last night from Corey. So sad to hear of this terrible news, you were always a great friend. I know we hadn't seen one another in a few years, but it seems like yesterday we were back in elementary school or playing little league baseball together.  You will be sadly missed my friend, rest in peace and prayers go out to your family.
