William Bill J. Baum

Born in Elgin, Illinois he was a resident of Stuart since 1987.

Bill was a painting contractor for 40 years and was the Owner of Ocean Spray Painting. He was also Captain and Owner of Ocean Spray Charters in Stuart for many years.

He was a member of the Better Business Bureau, Stuart and Martin County Chamber of Commerce and the Treasure Coast Builders Association.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Teri “Ber” Baum of Stuart, Florida; his mother Betty McKeown of Elgin, Illinois; son, Shane Baum of South Elgin, Illinois; daughters, Roxane Baum of South Dakota and Lisa Gill of McHenry, Illinois, six grandchildren three great grandchildren; two stepsisters, Kay Nottolini of Elgin, Illinois and Colleen McKeown of South Elgin, Illinois.

He is predeceased by his father, Bill, his son Nathan and his great granddaughter, Taylor Baum.

Friends and family may call and visit on Wednesday, July 13 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Services will be held on Thursday, July 14 at 11:00 am at the Aycock Funeral home in Stuart. Rev. Hugh M. Curran, Pastor of Treasure Coast Deaf Church will officiate.

Inurnment will be in Fernhill Memorial Gardens.
